Please take note of the MNG Dress Code for the 2017/2018 Season. This is for class only; Competitive Requirements will become available AFTER all music and costuming has been selected!
Creative Expressions – dancers can be creative with what they wear, providing they can move in it freely with no distractions, grippy socks are encouraged, hair neat and tidy.
Pre/Primary – tan tights, black bodysuit, black shorts, black ballet slippers, black slip on jazz shoes and black slip on tap shoes, hair in tidy ponytail.
Recreational Hip Hop & Adult Classes – comfortable dance wear, clean indoor shoes, tap shoes for tap class and hair neat and tidy.
Ballet/Lyrical, Jazz, Tap & Musical Theatre – hair in a high bun, long black leggings, black tank or razor back top (fitted), black ballet shoes (canvas or leather, your preference), black slip on jazz shoes and black slip on or tie up tap shoes.
Hip Hop – Solid black baggy track pants that can be worn either at the ankle or pulled up under the knee, black converse high tops (Dancer’s Closet has a bunch of used ones), solid white t-shirt (not fitted), hair down with a red & white paisley style bandana; NO BANDANA AT CLASS…HAIR GOES IN A PONYTAIL. We will show you how to wear the bandana at the first class.
